In 1952, everyone took to the streets to make Bengali the national language, and the language movement started. One of the goals of the language movement is to make Bengali the national language. The police started firing indiscriminately on that movement and Rafiq Barkat Jabbar and many others who are not known were killed in the police firing.

In return for their sacrifice, today we got Bengali language, Bengali language today is our state language, our mother tongue, Bengali language today in exchange for the blood of the martyrs of the language movement.

A few days ago, UNESCO recognized the Bengali language and celebrated February 21 as International Mother Language Day in different countries of the world. Humble respect from the Engineers Association of Bangladesh (EAB) family to those who sacrificed their lives for this Bengali language. May the International Mother Language Day be immortal
